We are running Paragliding Courses,
Para Pro 1, 2 and 3,
in conjunction with the local paragliding school, Zero Gravity,
Which is run by pilot and instructor, Jose Ramon, who has 20
years experience of flying in and around Algodonales.
We are also running BHPA courses in
conjunction with Dean Crosby, ex British champion, from
Active Edge, one of the best paragliding schools in the UK.
With the added benefit of Baz's unique knowledge
of the area, the user friendly terrain and excellent weather,
these paragliding courses will fill up fast so our advice is
to book early!
Algodonales is renowned for its
blue skies, stable weather patterns and warm welcome. It's a
perfect winter destination between September and April, at a
time when quality training in the UK is rare.
We are also running post CP or
post Para Pro 3 courses in basic thermaling, and for the
more experienced pilots XC courses through out the year
based in Algodonales, a great cross
country flying site.

BHPA elementary Pilot Courses

The Para Pro 1+2 and BHPA elementary Pilot Courses
are
designed for the complete beginner. You will learn to make
pre-flight checks, take off and fly down to a controlled and
designated landing area. You will gain a sound understanding of the
principles of paragliding, reinforced with theory.
Courses include: Paragliding
tuition, all equipment, theory lectures and exam, site transport and
self-catered shared
accommodation in superb apartments.

Thermaling courses are aimed at
lower airtime pilots who feel they are now ready for more
adventurous flying than just ridge soaring.
XC courses are aimed at pilots who
are comfortable with their flying but want to take it to the
next level.
Courses include: Thermal tuition
or XC
guidance (or a mix of the two), site transport and self-catered shared accommodation in superb
apartments.
